Altru Offers Free Diabetes Fair

Grand Forks, ND – Altru Health System will host a free diabetes management and prevention fair Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 4:30 – 6 p.m. in the Community Room at Choice Health & Fitness. Diabetes professionals will offer informational booths and activities from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. including:

• Blood sugar testing
• Blood pressure screens
• Exercise recommendations
• BMI testing
• Information on counting carbs
• Updates in diabetes care
• Coping with diabetes

Keynote speaker Dr. James Brosseau, Medical Director of the Diabetes Center at Altru, will present information on the diagnosis and management of diabetes from 5:30 – 6 p.m.
