Altru’s Trauma Services to Host AARP Driver Safety Course
Altru Health System, Grand Forks, N.D. – Altru Health System’s Trauma Services will host a AARP Driver Safety Course from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on January 24 at Altru Psychiatry Center.
“The course is designed to help mature drivers safely navigate today’s roads,” said Bill Vasicek, community safety coordinator for Altru. “Refreshing their driving skills and knowledge helps this group stay independent while keeping our roads safe, reducing chances for traffic violations, accidents and injuries.”
The course is open to drivers age 50 and older. Cost for AARP members is $12 and $14 for non-members. To register or for more information, call 701.780.5939. Pre-registration is not required.
