Dr. Charles Wood Joins Altru Health System
Altru Health System, Grand Forks, ND – Altru welcomes Charles Wood, MD, to our neurosurgery team. Dr. Wood began his education at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia where he received a degree in chemistry. He continued his education at Emory University School of Medicine, earning a degree in medicine. Dr. Wood completed a neurosurgical residency, as well as neurotrauma and pediatric neurosurgery fellowships at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Prior to joining Altru, Dr. Wood was employed with HCA/Southern Kentucky Neurosurgical Associates in Bowling Green where he was the director of the Neuroscience Center. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
