Dr. Mark Larkins Joins Altru Health System
Altru Health System, Grand Forks, ND – Mark Larkins, MD, joins Altru’s neurosurgery team. Dr. Larkins attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, as well as a master’s degree in political science. He continued his education at CaseWestern ReserveUniversity, earning his medical degree. Dr. Larkins completed a residency in neurosurgery at Cleveland Clinic, and a fellowship in microneurosurgery, focused on cranial nerve surgery at the skull base, at PresbyterianUniversityHospital in Pittsburgh, Penn. Dr. Larkins has practiced neurosurgery for over 21 years, most recently he had a private neurosurgery practice in St. Paul, Minn. Dr. Larkins is a fellow of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and the AmericanCollege of Surgeons. He is also a member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma. Dr. Larkin’s specific interests are adult general neurosurgery, neurotrauma, cervical spine surgery, neurooncology and skull base surgery.
