Gail Kresel Presented Caregiver of the Year Award

Grand Forks, ND - Gail Kresel, Parkwood Senior Living receptionist, was recently awarded one of four 2013 Caregiver Awards presented by the North Dakota Long Term Care Association (NDLTCA). The Caregiver Award recognizes long term care staff that significantly enhance quality of life for residents in North Dakota’s long term care facilities. Winners were selected from over 600 nominations from residents and their family members.

Since joining Parkwood in 2002, Gail’s responsibilities include answering calls, receiving guests, arranging transportation and helping residents with requests. “Gail is truly deserving of this award. She goes out of her way to take care of our residents on a daily basis,” said Linda Butler, executive director at Parkwood. “We are fortunate to have her and are proud of her accomplishments.”

The North Dakota Long Term Care Association is a professional group of community and long term care providers who enhance the lives of people they serve through collaboration, education and advocacy. NDLTCA represents assisted living, basic care and nursing facilities throughout North Dakota.
