Recycle Items for Altru’s Suicide Prevention Program
Grand Forks, ND – Recyclable items will be collected during the month of May to raise funds for Altru’s Suicide Prevention Program and Walk for Suicide Prevention on September 15, 2013. The fundraising campaign, Yes, I Can Help Save a Life, encourages community members to drop off aluminum cans, bottles and newspapers at Minnkota Recycling, 2004 Demers Avenue in Grand Forks, N.D. Proceeds will go toward programs to help prevent suicide in our community and region.
“During the month of May, we encourage community members support suicide prevention by bringing recyclable items to MinnkotaRecyclingCenter,” explains Brenda Brummond, co-organizer for this year’s walk.
