Altru Hosts Marketplace Open Enrollment for Individuals Needing Insurance
Grand Forks, ND – To help individuals navigate the steps of obtaining health insurance through the Marketplace, Altru Health System is hosting two all-day open enrollment sessions. These sessions provide an opportunity for individuals to determine the options and levels of coverage that are right for them and/or their family. Certified application counselors from Altru and Valley Community Health Center will be available to assist patients with preparing and applying for coverage through the Marketplace (also known as Exchange). Individuals without insurance are encouraged to take part in these events to become insured before the March 31 deadline as outlined by the Affordable Care Act.
Enrollees should bring financial information (tax return, pay stub, W-2) and identification card (social security numbers or document numbers for legal immigrants).
