Altru's mission guides us in everything we do. Altru Health System is here to improve health and enrich the lives of all.

Altru serves the entire northwestern North Dakota and northeastern Minnesota region. In fact, all of our resources are devoted to improving health in the communities we serve.  The broad scope of health services we provide to individuals and families who need them, regardless of their ability to pay, proves we understand that access to quality health care is vital to sustainable and successful communities.

Another element of our community commitment is to be involved in and contribute to a host of activities and partnerships in our region. Health care is more than our job; it’s our passion. Through our dedication to initiatives focused on charity care, education, community health improvement, research and community growth, we are able to assure quality of life for everyone. Our success depends largely on the success of the communities we serve, and we continue to seek ways to make these communities healthier, safer and more enjoyable places to live.
