Description

A Clinical Outcomes Study of Darapladib versus Placebo in Persons with CHD to Compare the Incidence of Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events (MACE)

Purpose

The purpose of this study is to test a potential new drug called darapladib.  We want to find out how well it works and test its safety.  We want to find out what effects, good or bad, it has on persons with CHD

Chronic CHD documented

Key Exclusion Criteria

Planned coronary revascularization (PCI or bypass surgery (CABG)) or any other major surgical procedure.
