Altru Announces Director of Radiology and Imaging Services

Grand Forks, ND – Altru Health System is proud to announce Gordon Hessie has accepted the position of director of Radiology and Imaging Services. In this role, Hessie will be responsible for the oversight of all imaging services and will work with operations managers and radiologists on further development and growth of radiology and imaging services.

Born in Germany and raised in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Hessie has worked in healthcare for 20 years. He has a background in nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography, MRI and densitometry. Hessie also holds a master of business administration through California Coast University in Santa Ana, Calif., as well as Six Sigma designation.

Hessie comes to Altru most recently from Los Alamos Medical Center in New Mexico, having previously worked as the director of radiology at Providence Medical Center in Mobile. Ala.
