Altru Announces New Manager of Cardiology

Grand Forks, N.D – Altru Health System is proud to announce Sandy Kovar has accepted the position of manager of cardiology/interventional radiology. In this role, Kovar will oversee the operations of cardiology cath lab, interventional radiology, cardiology clinic and cardio/pulmonary rehab. 

Kovar brings 18 years of healthcare experience to this role, having worked at Altru Health System since 1997. She has held positions including registered cardiovascular invasive specialist and STEMI/stroke coordinator. 

Kovar received an associate degree from Northland Community and Technical College and is currently working toward a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration.
