Becky Larson Receives Altru’s Nursing Excellence Award

Grand Forks, ND - Becky Larson, RN, Patient Care Supervisor for Altru’s Surgical Inpatient Unit, was chosen to receive the Nursing Excellence Award by the Professional Nurse Committee at Altru Health System. Criteria for selection are based on respect and care for individuals, honesty and dependability, commitment to serve, and dedication to improvement in quality of patient care.

Larson was recognized for her dedication to the Altru family that is shown through her actions every day. She is an advocate for patients and continually promotes a positive work environment. Her coworkers admire her compassion toward others, and many note her strongest attribute is that she is all about the patients. Becky is a valuable resource for employees and physicians, and has been an employee of Altru Health System since 2011.

The Nursing Excellence Award was established in 1986 to recognize registered nurses and licensed practical nurses who exemplify outstanding achievement as a true professional and dedication to enhancing the nursing profession.
