Stacie Avdem Named Director of Altru’s Surgical and Procedural Services

Grand Forks, N.D - Altru Health System is pleased to announce Stacie Avdem has accepted the position of Director of Surgical and Procedural Services. Prior to this position, Stacie has held the leadership role as Manager of Altru’s Surgery and Central Processing. She has many years of experience in all aspects of healthcare, from long-term care to nursing and critical access.

Stacie has a Bachelor of Nursing degree and earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Mary in 2012. When asked why she enjoys working at Altru, Stacie states, “What excites me most is being a part of continuous improvement and striving for something better all the time. This has always been my focus in life, and I feel it matches the focus of Altru.”

Stacie strives to listen more than talk. She understands the importance of asking questions and is always ready to answer questions from her staff. In her free time, Stacie enjoys spending time with her family.
