Update: Altru Receives Accident Patients

Grand Forks, ND – As of 3:45 p.m. today, all seven patients previously admitted from Monday's accident have been discharged. Three patients were previously transferred out. 

Previous Statement

As of 8:15 a.m. today, one patient from Monday's accident remains at Altru Hospital. A total of six patients have been discharged. Three patients were previously transferred out.

As of 4 p.m. today, four patients remain at Altru Hospital. A total of three patients have been discharged. Three patients were previously transferred out.

7:25 p.m. Ten patients were brought to Altru Health System after an accident near Larimore, ND this afternoon. Six patients have been admitted, three patients have been transferred out and one patient was discharged.

6:35 p.m. Correction: Altru Health System has received 10 patients related to today’s accident. Five patients have been admitted and three patients are being transferred out.

5:45 p.m. Altru Health System has received 11 patients. Two patients have been admitted and three patients are being transferred out.

Initial Statement

Altru Health System has received patients from this afternoon’s accident near Larimore. At this time, full physician and ancillary support is ready and available to care for these patients.

As of 5:15 p.m., nine patients have arrived at Altru.
