Vanessa Dufault, MD Joins Altru Health System

Altru Health System, Grand Forks, ND – Vanessa Dufault, MD, certified with the American Board of Family Medicine, joins Altru Health System as a physician in Urgent Care. Dr. Dufault received her certificate of graduate medical education from the family medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Throughout her studies, Dr. Dufault received a number of honors and awards and was actively involved in research.

Altru’s Urgent Care

Altru’s Urgent Care department provides ambulatory services to treat injuries or illnesses requiring immediate care but of lesser acuity than those requiring an emergency room visit. The Urgent Care staffs six Urgent Care providers and is located near the emergency department on the main level of Altru Hospital.
