Dr. Peter Papapetrou Joins Altru Health System

Grand Forks, N.D. – Peter Papapetrou, MD, joins the pain management team at Altru Health System and specializes in degenerative disc disease and disc herniations, neuropathic pain, joint pain, osteoarthritis and migraine headaches. “I am motivated by the successes of my patients in achieving better functionality and quality of life as a result of treatment. Success is defined differently for each patient but can include returning to work after overcoming a painful injury or regaining mobility after living with chronic pain. Above all, having the honor and privilege of being able to treat those in need is the greatest motivation for the work I do,” states Dr. Papapetrou.

Dr. Papapetrou earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his anesthesiology medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University School of Medicine, also in Detroit, Michigan. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, soccer, swimming and reading.
