Sarah Lee Receives Altru’s Nursing Excellence Award

Grand Forks, N.D. – Sarah Lee, RN, with Altru’s Emergency Department has been chosen to receive the Nursing Excellence Award by the Professional Nurse Committee at Altru Health System. Criteria for selection are based on respect and care for individuals, honesty and dependability, commitment to serve and dedication to improvement in quality of patient care.  

Lee was recognized for her outstanding achievement as a true professional who thrives to care for patients, and her dedication to patient care and teamwork. Her coworkers identified her as a trusted mentor and leader who shares her knowledge and expertise with new nurses as well as peers. Many noted the compassionate care she gives to her patients and their family members as her strongest attribute. Sarah is a valuable resource for employees and physicians and has been an employee of Altru Health System since 2014. 

The Nursing Excellence Award was established in 1986 to recognize registered nurses and licensed practical nurses who exemplify outstanding achievement as true professionals and show dedication to enhancing the nursing profession.
