September 20, 2012 was a historic day for the community of Devils Lake, as it marked the Grand Opening of the new clinic facility.
Expansion and Renovation
Altru Clinic l Devils Lake completed phase one of its 10.3 million dollar expansion and renovation of the clinic and an addition of services.
Acquired by Altru in 2001, Altru Clinic l Devils Lake is a multi-specialty primary care clinic. Altru Clinic | Devils Lake is an important access point for our patients. After analyzing the needs of the region, it was determined that adding supplemental services and improving our facility was in the community’s best interest.
Highlights of the project include:
● Remodeling of the 13,000 square feet main floor to accommodate therapy, mammography and other services
● Increased clinic size with a two-story addition of 27,000 square feet to house physician offices and exam rooms
● Expanded lab, oncology, pharmacy, and specialty outreach services
“We are very excited about these changes. They will definitely improve access and our ability to deliver quality care to the people of the Lake Region,” adds Kaye Nelsen, Altru Clinic l Devils Lake Supervisor.
