Karin Lokensgard Pierce, MD, is a family medicine physician at Altru Health System specializing in long term care. She manages ongoing chronic disease including diabetes, heart and kidney disease and dementia. Outside of work, Dr. Lokensgard Pierce is an active member at United Lutheran Church and plays flute in the Grand Forks City Band. She also enjoys spending time with family and caring for their four pets.
