Joint Replacement Center
As a regional leader in knee and hip replacement, Altru’s Joint Replacement Center’s goal is to get patients back to their active routines as quickly as possible.
Altru is designated as a Blue Distinction® Center+ for Knee and Hip Replacement by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. Blue Distinction Centers provide comprehensive knee and hip replacement services and outperform their peers in quality and safety measures as well as cost measures that address consumers’ needs for affordable health care.
At the core of the Joint Replacement Center is our comprehensive education and exercise program, beginning prior to surgery and continuing with group physical and occupational therapy after surgery. We use less invasive surgical procedures which means less damage to surrounding tissue and faster recovery times. And, our unique group program provides excellent teaching and learning opportunities designed to jump start your recovery process.
