Tobacco Cessation

Tobacco usage contributes to over 442,000 deaths in the United Sates each year. Because of the impact on the total population and our patients at Altru Health System it is seen as a quality indicator and public health issue. Our aim is that 100% of our patients who are tobacco users will be offered education and counseling regarding tobacco cessation.
