
Grand Forks, N.D. – Altru Health System is proud to announce several promotions throughout the organization.
Derek Goebel has been promoted to manager of decision support and budget. Derek will be responsible for the coordination of the overall operating and capital budget processes for the organization. He will prepare final corporate budgets and monitor budgets compared to actual results. He has been with Altru for over eight years with experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and performance improvement roles. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, spending time with his wife Rachel, and working on the house.
Rosemary Kalenze has been promoted to manager of retail pharmacy services. She will serve as manager of Altru Retail Pharmacy, Altru Family Medicine Residency Pharmacy, and the Home Infusion Pharmacy. Prior to working at Altru, she began as a pharmacist in Alaska, working at a community pharmacy that also served the local hospital. She worked as a pharmacy manager for Rite Aid in New York for six years. She started at Altru in 2013 and was named supervisor of retail pharmacy services in 2015. In her free time, she enjoys listing to and playing music with her family. They enjoy camping, traveling, and Vikings games.
Sam McEntee has been promoted to manager of regional therapy at Altru Health System. Her responsibilities will include oversite of staffing, budget, and contract agreements. Regional therapy has over 85 staff members and provides therapy services to over 22 locations within a 110-mile radius of Grand Forks. She was a speech-language pathologist for regional therapy for eight years, being a lead therapist for two of those years. She was also a supervisor for three years before transitioning to her current role. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, cooking, and baking.
