
Grand Forks, N.D. – Sunshine Hospitality Home is opening its doors to a public open house today, June 26, from 4:30 – 6 p.m., at 933 Duke Drive, Grand Forks (behind Altru Hospital across from Sertoma Park). There will be a short program followed by ribbon-cutting. The public will be allowed in the house on self-guided tours with Sunshine Hospitality Home representatives available for questions.
Sunshine Hospitality Home is comfortable and homelike, offering individuals to stay close to their loved ones to assist with care, rehabilitation, home care teaching, and support. The Home officially opens July 9 (physician referral needed for a family stay) and is open to serve any person traveling to Grand Forks to fulfill their healthcare needs, no matter the healthcare provider. An individual or family's length of stay can be as short as a morning or afternoon, one night, or as long as needed depending on the situation. The home features many amenities to make a stay for a patient or family as comfortable as possible away from home. The cost for an overnight stay is $40 per night. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. Starting July 9, guest registration hours are 1 – 10 p.m.
