Altru's Gala 2021 Postponement

The Gala has been postponed from September 25 to December 11, 2021.


As Altru prepares for a surge in COVID cases over the next 60 days, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to postpone the 2021 Altru Gala. We are making this decision with two main factors in mind – the safety of our community and our Gala guests, and out of respect for our frontline healthcare team.

Why are we postponing?

Due to already high hospital volumes, a stretched workforce and the predicted surge we anticipate in the coming weeks, we are asking our caregivers to step away from their normal jobs to assist their hospital colleagues in caring for patients who require hospitalization. With this in mind, we feel the need to pivot our energy to support these vital resources to our community.

When will the Altru Gala take place?

The 2021 Altru Gala will now take place Saturday, December 11th at Cloud 9 Events (322 Demers Ave, Grand Forks) at 5:30 in the evening. We are excited and grateful for the opportunity to host our premiere event in a brand-new venue, and look forward to seeing you there!

What happens next?

As a sponsor or registrant of the 2021 Altru Gala, you will be contacted the first week of October with next steps to update table attendees, seating preferences, and meal choices. Should you be unable to attend the event on the new date, we will have a variety of options for you to proceed, including donating the cost of your ticket(s) or requesting a ticket refund.
