Altru Clinic in Crookston Prepares to Break Ground on Expansion and Renovation Project
Grand Forks, N.D. – Altru Clinic in Crookston will break ground on an expansion and renovation project that will touch nearly every facet of the building and develop space needed for additional services, keeping patients close to home for the care they need. The expansion will add 7270 square feet to the existing footprint and the renovations will encompass 13,060 square feet of existing space. The ceremonial ground breaking is scheduled for Wednesday, August 31, 2016, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Patients and visitors can expect the project to improve overall experiences, beyond the continued presence of dependable, high quality healthcare. It will multiply current offerings of the clinic and develop it as a hub for care in Polk County, therefore increasing the opportunity for people to receive care close to home.
The expansion and renovation will offer patients expanded specialty care options, expanded radiology services to include CT, mammography and ultrasound, same day procedures, an operating room and renovated patient care rooms, infusion, laboratory and therapy spaces. Altru Chief Executive Officer Dave Molmen says, “We are proud that the development of this facility and programming will blaze new trails for Altru as a regional leader in healthcare.”
Construction is expected to begin in September 2016 with completion expected spring 2018.
