Dr. Hayan Al Maluli Joins Altru’s Cardiology Team

Grand Forks, N.D – Hayan Al Maluli, MD, joins the cardiology team at Altru Health System. He is board certified in internal medicine and specializes in Advanced Echocardiography and Pulmonary Hypertension. “The only proper way to practice medicine is total commitment. A commitment mandated by the sacred and powerful relationship between the patient and his or her physician. The doctor is therefore obligated to provide the highest standard of care which always requires three essential components: treat each patient as a unique individual, make your patient your partner in making decisions involving his or her life and finally, be the best doctor you can by constantly setting higher standards for yourself.”

Dr. Al Maluli earned his medical degree from Damascus University Faculty of Medicine, Damascus, Syria. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Al Maluli received the Professionalism Award and Best Fellow Educator Award from the Department of Internal Medicine at Temple University.

Outside of work, he enjoys soccer, table tennis, reading and spending time with his kids. He looks forward to joining organizations that promote a healthy lifestyle. In addition to English, Dr. Al Maluli speaks fluent Spanish and Arabic.
