Dr. Johanna Wenninger, MD Joins Altru’s Critical Care Team
Grand Forks, N.D – Johanna Wenninger, MD, joins the critical care team at Altru Health System. She is board certified in internal medicine and specializes in Sepsis, Shock and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. “I believe that having effective communication and fostering mutual collaboration and trust are essential to quality care.”
Dr. Wenninger earned her medical degree from Universidad Nacional de Asuncion, Paraguay. She completed her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois, and her Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Cooper University Hospital, Camden, New Jersey.
Outside of work, Dr. Wenninger enjoys performing arts, playing sports such as tennis, soccer and volleyball, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to English, she speaks Spanish, Portuguese and basic German.
