Dr. Karin Lokensgard Joins Altru Family Medicine Center
Grand Forks, N.D. – Karin Lokensgard, MD joins Altru Family Medicine Center. Dr. Lokensgard is board certified in family medicine and will be working with patients in the long term care setting. She will be managing on-going chronic diseases including diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease and dementia. She states, “I give my full attention and the best possible care to each and every one of my patients.”
Dr. Lokensgard earned her medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She completed her residency at Altru Family Medicine Residency in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Outside of work, Dr. Lokensgard is an active member at United Lutheran Church and plays the flute in the Grand Forks City Band. She enjoys spending time with family and caring for their four pets.
