Pembina County Memorial Hospital and Altru Health System Collaboration Effective January 2016

Grand Forks, N.D. - We are excited to announce that the collaboration of services provided by Pembina County Memorial Hospital (PCMH) and Altru Health System will occur on January 11, 2016. This creates an integrated care experience for patients, promotes high quality healthcare and service, and eliminates duplication of services to ensure that all medical services are more effectively delivered locally.

Patients may continue to be seen by their CliniCare primary care provider and Altru specialists with whom they have developed relationships. Beginning January 11, CliniCare, operated by PCMH, will assume occupancy of the current Altru Clinic building at 201 East 3rd Avenue South and provide primary clinic services including family medicine, internal medicine, general surgery, lab and X-ray services, etc. Altru’s Specialty Care will occupy space in the current PCMH hospital building at 301 Mountain Street East and continue to offer access to advanced specialists, Home Care & Hospice, as well as telemedicine whenever appropriate.

With the integration of services, care will not be interrupted. We believe this new arrangement provides easier access to medical services in the region. Together, we look forward to extending this collaboration for Cavalier and the surrounding communities and thank you for the opportunity to serve you.
