Altru Announces Director of Quality and Patient Safety

Grand Forks, N.D. – Altru Health System is proud to announce Lynnette Huot has accepted the position of director of quality and patient safety. In her new role, she will work collaboratively with providers, leaders and staff to develop, promote and sustain a culture of safety. She will lead quality improvement, patient safety, infection control, research, peer review, medical home and the institutional review board. Lynn states, “My goal is to not only continue providing safe, quality care to our patients here and in the region, but to identify opportunities to bring our organization to the next level as healthcare delivery continues to evolve.” 

Huot has been with Altru Health System and its predecessor organizations since 1984, most recently serving as the manager of clinic operations. Lynn earned her practical nursing degree in 1983, associate’s degree in nursing in 2005, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mayville State University in 2016. Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and two grandchildren, as well as spending time at the lake.
