Altru Announces Manager of Outpatient Psychiatry
Grand Forks, N.D. – Altru Health System is proud to announce that Melissa Ziegler has accepted the position of Manager of Outpatient Psychiatry. Melissa has held several roles at Altru over the past 18 years, most recently serving as a registered nurse and patient care coordinator for the women’s and children’s unit. Additionally, she served as the nursing manager of Glenmore Recovery Center from 2010-2012, and as social worker for Marshall County Social Services and Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Schools from 2001-2004. In her new role, she will oversee the outpatient psychiatry clinic and serve as the TEARS coordinator.
Melissa earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of North Dakota, as well as an associate’s degree in nursing from Northland Community and Technical College. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, fishing and swimming at the lake, reading, watching movies and learning new things.
