Coralyn Jensen, FNP Joins Altru’s Pediatric Team

Grand Forks, N.D. – Coralyn (Corey) Jensen, FNP, joins the pediatric team at Altru Health System. “In pediatrics, I believe it is about interacting with the pediatric patient as well as the caregiver,” states Corey. “With the pediatric patient, I incorporate play and let them investigate the equipment, like the stethoscope or otoscope.”

Corey earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. She went on to complete the Family Nurse Practitioner program, also at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. Prior to that, she served as a nurse in Altru’s emergency department since 2004. Outside of work, Corey teaches Zumba and kickboxing, and she enjoys spending time at the lake with her husband and children and their families.
