Dr. Anita Bansal Joins Altru Health System
Grand Forks, N.D. – Anita Bansal, MD, joins the psychiatry team at Altru Health System, specializing in treating patients with depression, anxiety and psychosis. “I believe in treating patients as a whole; treating psychosocial and environmental factors are important to consider in addition to psychiatric processes,” states Dr. Bansal. “I find reward in working closely with my patients, getting to know them on a personal level and coming up with treatment plans to help them.”
Dr. Bansal earned her medical degree from American University of Antigua School of Medicine in Antigua. She completed her psychiatry residency at Creighton University-University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Outside of work, Dr. Bansal enjoys reading, cycling, running and baking.
