Dr. Rose Julius Joins Altru’s Behavioral Health Department
Grand Forks, N.D. – Dr. Rose Julius has accepted the position of program director of Altru’s inpatient behavioral health unit. In her role as program director she will apply her expertise working with team members on the inpatient unit to continue Altru’s mission of improving health and enriching lives of the residents of our region.
Dr. Julius is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as in Addiction Medicine, through both the American Board of Addiction Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine. She has experience in multiple behavioral health treatment settings, including outpatient, integrated primary care, addictions, inpatient and emergency services.
Dr. Julius received her medical education from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and holds a master’s degree public health from the Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University. Dr. Julius has a strong background in healthcare administration and quality management in managed care and other public health settings.
