The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program teaches healthcare providers the knowledge and skills needed for neonatal post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization. S.T.A.B.L.E. stands for the six program modules: Sugar and Safe care, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support for the family.
S.T.A.B.L.E. is designed for all healthcare personnel who provide care to infants, including Registered Nurses (labor and delivery, postpartum, well baby nursery, neonatal intensive care unit, emergency department), advanced practice Registered Nurses (neonatal nurse practitioner students, nurse midwives, certified nurse anesthetists), Physicians (family practice, obstetric, emergency, pediatric, neonatology fellows), Licensed Practical nurses and nursing assistants (nursery and postpartum units), Respiratory Therapists, and Pre-hospital Providers (emergency medical technicians, paramedics).
