Student placement process
Application for Advance Practice Provider & Practicum Students
Deadline for Applications:
Fall semester: May 1
Spring semester: Sept 1
Summer semester: Feb 1
- School coordinator/program representative will submit application through the Student Portal.
- Students will be notified by the following dates of acceptance/denial of application:
- Fall semester: May 30
- Spring semester: Sept 30
- Summer semester: Feb 28
- School coordinator/program representative will receive communication regarding orientation compliance for student(s) upon acceptance of student application.
- Student will receive login information and a link to the electronic orientation upon acceptance of application.
Submission of Undergrad student information
Please submit student information at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the semester.
- School coordinator/program representative will submit application through the Student Portal.
- School coordinator will receive communication regarding orientation compliance for student(s) upon acceptance of student application.
- Student will receive login information and a link to the electronic orientation upon acceptance of application.
Requirements
Advance Practice Provider & Practicum Students
- Prior to the start of an approved rotation with Altru Health System, a current affiliation agreement with the applicant’s program must be on file.
- Once the application is received the Clinical Education office will communicate on the applicant’s behalf.
- Once the rotation has been approved a mandatory online student orientation module must be completed prior to start date.
