Philosophy of Medicine

"I am very interested in assessing the person's life experience, not just their diabetes. An understanding of their life circumstances is critical in helping them cope with a chronic disease over time. This is best served with a team approach to diabetes, which is something we pioneered in North Dakota at Altru."
