"I approach each patient with respect, dignity and compassion. I strive to treat the whole patient and not just the immediate condition. Sometimes the immediate condition is only what is visible, but by developing an understanding of the patient's needs, I can identify areas where more support or education is needed. I think it is important that patients understand their condition and have the opportunity to be involved in decision-making."
