Karine Darbinyan, MD

Dr. Karine Darbinyan is a hematology and oncology specialist at Altru Cancer Center. Dr. Darbinyan finds it very rewarding and inspiring to see someone who is coming to her in a health crisis feeling better and smiling again. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, playing guitar, and spending time with her children.

Philosophy of Medicine

"My goal is to provide the patient and family with all available options and help them come up with the best plan of treatment. I always respect and support patients final decision even if it contradicts my point of view. That is something I've learned from my father in law who battled lung cancer and was one of my best teachers."
