Philosophy of Medicine

"

I have always felt that in addition to providing skilled care, providing a relaxed atmosphere and directly involving the patient in their own recovery are hugely important. We as therapists have a great deal of opportunity to spend a lot of one on one time with our patients, and it is very rewarding to get to know them beyond their "diagnosis". To hear our patient say that their care was successful but also was "fun" is one of the best compliments I can receive, and I feel that this personal touch with our patients leads to better compliance and outcomes.
