About Me

Tom Hammett is an athletic trainer with Altru Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and works primarily at Grand Forks Central High School. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, reading and watching sports, especially his alma mater, the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Philosophy of Medicine

"I became an athletic trainer to help keep athletes safe, healthy and on the field or court. My goal is to provide the highest quality of care to my patients so they can continue to participate in their sport or activity and do so as safely as possible."
