Pfizer has submitted to the FDA for emergency authorization for the COVID-19 vaccine for children 6-months-old to 4-years-old. We require the approval of the CDC and ACIP before we can begin administering the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to this age group. The FDA and CDC will meet about this the week of February 14, 2022. Once all three groups have approved, we will plan to start scheduling vaccinations immediately.
