Altru Offers Free Clinical Breast Exams in October

Grand Forks, N.D. – As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Altru's Breast Center will offer free clinical breast exams on Monday afternoons throughout the month of October. One in eight will develop breast cancer, and a clinical breast exam is part of your overall breast health. Breast exams are encouraged for anyone over the age of 25. Appointments are limited and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

*Note: While important for prevention, clinical breast exams do not include imaging and are not meant to replace regular mammograms
