Dr. Adam Quinn Joins Altru Health System

Grand Forks, N.D.Adam Quinn, MD is joining the Family Medicine team at Altru Family Medicine Residency. He is board-certified and sees patients of all ages and general medical concerns. He also specializes in Sports Medicine, where he focuses on the health of athletes from a variety of skill levels.

“I take a practical approach to my patients. I help them to understand their options and provide education on preventative measures to limit injury or disease,” explains Dr. Quinn. “Keeping their goals and prior level of health in mind, I work with patients to develop a plan of care with realistic expectations. By using an economical strategy that minimizes cost, I strive to get them back to their normal activities as soon as possible.”

Dr. Quinn earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Duluth, Minnesota. He completed his family medicine residency, internship, and sports medicine fellowship at Altru Family Medicine Residency in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

When he’s not at work, Dr. Quinn enjoys spending time with his wife, their three children, and their dog. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hockey, volleyball, curling, mountain biking, and skiing. He likes going to sporting events and being at the lake. He recently completed his first marathon and often provides medical coverage for marathons and other sporting events in the area.
