Amy Shimek, FNP-C Now Providing Services at Truyu Aesthetic Center

Grand Forks, N.D. – Amy Shimek, FNP-C joins the team at Truyu Aesthetic Center as a family nurse practitioner specializing in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Her special practices and procedures include Botox/Dysport, dermal fillers, facial rejuvenation, anti-aging treatments, skin cancer screens, acne, rashes, and wart treatments.

“The patient really guides the practitioner on what needs to be done,” Shimek explains. “It’s important the patient feels heard and that they’ve had the opportunity to contribute to the development of their treatment plan.”

Amy is heavily involved in the community of Grand Forks. She is proud to be a North Dakotan and has lived in the Grand Forks area for over 18 years. She feels it is a privilege to take care of people in what is sometimes the most vulnerable season of their lives. In her free time, Amy enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time at the lake. Her three daughters and husband are the light of her life.
