Grand Forks, N.D. - Altru Health System is now offering COVID-19 Antibody Testing at all family medicine locations in Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, and throughout the region starting on Monday, June 1.
Antibody testing can tell whether someone has been exposed to COVID-19.
A positive test result does not mean someone has immunity against the virus.
As Altru works to protect the community, we're asking anyone interested in antibody testing to speak with their primary care physician to schedule an appointment.
The antibody test can be paid for using insurance, otherwise, patients will pay $70.
No matter the test result, we're asking everyone to keep using masks, social distancing, and handwashing.
Note: Antibody Testing is not available for patients at Altru Clinic Warroad and Altru Clinic Roseau.
