Sunshine Hospitality Home To Open Friday, May 15th at 43% Capacity

At Sunshine Hospitality Home, we believe it is in challenging times like these that the power of hospitality and generosity is needed most of all. Whether our guests are traveling now or in the future, our team is ready to welcome them with the warmth and compassionate care they deserve on their journey of health. As the situation around COVID-19 continues to evolve, we are doing everything we can to ensure our guests’ safety and security. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Sunshine will be following the CDC guidelines and taking extra precautions for a safe reopening on Friday, May 15, 2020:

• We will open at 43% capacity, with 6/14 rooms. In doing so we will be able to better maintain social distancing by having guests have their own living and kitchen areas.
• Visitor Restrictions – No outside visitors or children under the age of 18, as well as the closure of the exercise, play, and music room.
• Guests will be contacted 24-hours in advance upon their requested arrival date regarding room availability. If a room is available, it is offered to the guest pending they can meet check-in requirements (Covid-19 screening tool, prioritizing guests who have immediate medical needs, guests who live 50 miles out to receive health care).

Sunshine staff is available to support patients during this time to offer hospitality services and coordinate reservations with in-town hotel partners who are offering reduced rates if they need accommodations and our home is full of patients who do not meet the current check-in requirements.
