Grand Forks, N.D. – The University of North Dakota and Altru are partnering to support health and wellness, across our organizations and community, through the ‘Get Moving Challenge.’
The ‘Get Moving Challenge’ begins on Sunday, August 30, and is open to all staff, faculty, students, friends, and family. It’s a four-week-long event where participants keep track of their steps, or convert various activities into steps and log them into an online portal. The ‘Get Moving Challenge’ is aimed to encourage and promote physical lifelong well-being. Winners will be announced each week. We will also be giving out prizes including six $100 grand prizes.
The ‘Get Moving Challenge’ is a way to promote physical well-being during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. The University of North Dakota and Altru are the two largest employers in Grand Forks. We’re working together to focus on getting healthy while supporting each other as team members, coworkers, and friends.
