Grand Forks, ND - The City of Grand Forks, Grand Forks Public Health and Altru will administer COVID-19 vaccinations to anyone 16 and older beginning the week of Monday, March 29 with appointments available as early as Wednesday, April 7. We are currently finishing vaccination of people in Phase 1C.

Appointments for vaccination of the general public are now open for scheduling. Those who are interested in receiving the vaccine are encouraged to log in to MyChart.altru.org to directly schedule their appointment or call 701.780.6358 to be scheduled.

Please Note: While direct scheduling your appointment in MyChart, you can add yourself to the waitlist for an earlier appointment, if the opportunity arises. Add yourself using three quick steps:

  1. Select “Add to Waitlist”
  2. Choose “Schedule an Appointment”
  3. Click “COVID Vaccine in Grand Forks”

“Today is a great day as we open the waitlist to the general public. I am so excited to learn that we will most likely reach herd immunity by June 1st,” said Mayor Brandon Bochenski. “The vaccine is our strongest economic stimulator as it creates momentum and optimism in consumer behavior.”

Patients aged 16 or 17 must have permission from a parent or guardian to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

The City of Grand Forks, Grand Forks Public Health, and Altru will share updates through local media, social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and on our website: www.grandforksgov.com/vaccine.

Grand Forks Public Health and Altru are enrolled providers for the COVID-19 vaccine and follow the North Dakota Department of Health recommendations and guidance related to the distribution of the vaccine.
