Amy Shimek, FNP-C

Amy Shimek, FNP-C, specializes in dermatology, aesthetic medicine and women’s wellness at Truyu Aesthetic Center. As a family nurse practitioner, she provides a wide range of aesthetic and dermatologic services, including Botox^®, dermal fillers, nonsurgical facial rejuvenation, medical-grade skincare, acne treatment and skin cancer screenings.

Amy is passionate about helping women optimize their health, with a special focus on hormone optimization, gut health, inflammation, metabolic health and nutrigenomics.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys reading, exercising and spending time at the lake. She cherishes time with her husband and three daughters, who are the light of her life. A proud North Dakotan, she enjoys living and working in the Grand Forks area.
